This project is about exploring my relationship with objects that I own and how they act as prompts for my memory and offer nostalgia or comfort. The concept is based on the idea that some of us need material traces of a moment to be fully taken back there. In my project the viewer is prevented from seeing the object that I am writing about, they only see a description in words and a piece of writing about my memory and feeling connected to the object. I am portraying how the material and the memory can be both intertwined and disconnected.
