My next steps:

My plan for semester two starting at the end of January, is firstly to make a PechaKucha presentation for the Art World module. That is based on our edited 200-word essay introduction which we have had feedback on from our tutor. The aim of that is to have a practice of doing a presentation about our essay which will be marked at the end of February before we then write the essay in full. I will also be working on the essay doing some more initial research, reading and narrowing down what to study from the other artists, as I have now picked the two people, I want to study alongside myself. I then start the rough draft of the essay alongside working on the presentation.

In the time we have off between assignments and starting the new semester in January, I plan to add more things to my website and my portfolio which will help me moving forward. I then need to really crack on with my portfolio work and get my personal project to a place where I'm happy with and just get a lot more work done to show a good level of volume and testing. I will also start my online portfolio for this by making the template how I would like it and starting to scan, photograph and upload images to there as I go along, so I don't have to do it all at the end, which will help me. It's a little bit like updating the blog as I go along, I need to update my portfolio as I go along. I'm look forward to the challenge though and I'm excited to see where I can run with this project too.
